Where Do I Attach my File?

You can share files with team members by making them available in Services. This article will help you determine where to attach your files, depending on the type of file and when you want to use it.

Attachments cannot be added to Services emails, but you can email your team with a link to a plan that includes attachments.

Upload a file from your computer

You can upload audio files, video, lyrics, and chord charts directly from your computer to a song arrangement.

Click + in the song arrangement.

Click + button

Click Upload, and then upload the file from your computer.

Choose a file

Use the dropdowns to choose where in the arrangement to attach the file and assign an Attachment Type, if needed.

You can also create Lyrics and Chords files that you can to attach to a song.

Link to a file on the internet

If you want people to access a file found online, you can link to a web address or use one of our integrations.

To link to a song file, click + in a song arrangement.

Click the appropriate tab to link to a music service, video site, or URL.

To upload a file, click Add in a media item.

Click Add button

Click Upload, and then upload the file from your computer.

Use the dropdown to assign an attachment type, if needed.

You can also create Text Files that you can to attach to a media item.

Link to a file on the internet

You can link to a file online, or you can choose a YouTube or Vimeo video to add to your media.

To link to a file, click Add in a media item.

Click Add button

Click the appropriate tab to link to YouTube, Vimeo, or a URL.

Click Submit to add the link to the arrangment.

Where do you want to add the file?

You can either add a file to an item in the service order or to the whole plan.

  • Files added to a service item should only apply to that specific item. If you add it to a service item, the file will only be accessible to people who can view the order of service.
  • Files added to the whole plan should apply to multiple people or items in the plan.

Hover over the gray box to the right of the plan item, and then click add an attachment.

If you haven't yet created the item that you want to attach the file to, you first need to add the item to the order of service.

Choose the appropriate tab to upload a file from your computer, link to a URL, or link to a video on YouTube or Vimeo.

When you are finished adding flies, click Done.

In the Plan Attachments section of a plan, click add an attachment.

Choose the appropriate tab to upload a file from your computer, link to a URL, or link to a video on YouTube or Vimeo.

You can also create Stage Layouts that you can to attach to a plan.

Attach a file to all plans in a Service Type

If you have a file you want to make available in every plan within a Service Type, you can attach it to the Service Type itself.

If you have a song or media file that you want to reuse in any plan, attach the file to a song or media item.

To attach files to all plans in a Service Type, click the gear menu, and then click Settings.

Choose Settings

In the Files section of the Settings tab, click Add.

Click Add

Choose the appropriate tab to upload a file from your computer, link to a URL, or choose a video on YouTube or Vimeo.
