Service Types and Plans organize information for any services or events happening at your church.

Each of your related Plans, which usually happen weekly, are contained within a Service Type. Service Types also contain Teams and Templates related to its plans.

Creating a Service Type

The first step is to create a Service Type.

Click the + Service Type button, and then select Create a new service type.

You are guided through a wizard, which helps you create your first Plan, as well as Teams that you will need for the Service Type.

Once you've walked through the wizard, you'll be taken to your first Plan.

Adding Items to Plans

A Plan is where you store all the details about a particular service. It can include service times, rehearsal times, the teams you've scheduled for that service, and all the items happening in that service. When you schedule people to the plan, they can get access to other details of the plan, and worship teams can get access to rehearsal files.

Times

Here are your Service Times, Rehearsals, and Other Times for the plan.

Times

You can create times when you create the plan and add additional times after the plan is created. Team members can be assigned to specific times, and you can set up automated reminders for each time.

Items, Songs, and Media

Before you add Songs and Media to the plan, you need to add them to your library. Then when you add them to your plan, their related files are accessible in the plan so that team members can access them and you can reuse them in future plans.

You can plan your entire service by adding items, headers, songs, and media from here. Each item can have its own notes and description. If you track timing, you can add lengths for each item and see the total length of all items.

Once your service order is entered, your team can use the rehearse button the website to get to the media player or download a songbook PDF. They can also use our mobile app media player on the go.

Here's where you schedule the people you need for this specific plan. Before you can do that, you need to set up your teams.

Organizing Service Types and Plans

You can also create additional plans for a Service Type, as well as additional Service Types. Once you've created multiple Service types, create a  Folder to contain the Service Types.
