Services mobile chat

Coordinating an event requires communication. In addition to using the plan and worship order to provide details to your team, you can chat with your teams to stay in touch or coordinate about specific plans!

Tip

Services teams can chat using the Church Center and Services mobile apps.

Who can chat?

Anyone with a scheduler permission level or higher in Services can start a conversation. Everyone else will only see the chat icon once they’ve been invited to a conversation and can only contribute to those conversations.

  • Administrators and editors can create chats with any team.

  • Team leaders can message any or all of the teams they lead.

  • Team members can see their team's chat.

  • Only those scheduled for a plan can see a chat about the plan.

  • People who have a prepared notification or declined a request to serve will be excluded from plan chats.

Caution

Children under 13 years old cannot read or participate in conversations. See the Planning Center privacy policy for more information.
