Linking Accounts from Multiple Churches
This lesson shows you how to link and unlink your accounts when you have Planning Center accounts for multiple churches or organizations.
Why Link Accounts?
Let's say you volunteer as a singer at two churches. In this scenario, there are two primary reasons for linking your accounts:
Reason #1: Fast church switching.
When you log into Planning Center Services, you'll no longer be asked which church you would like to log into. You'll simply be taken to the last one you were viewing. From within Planning Center Services, you'll be able to jump back and forth between churches in the upper right.
Reason #2: Combined "My Schedule" view includes all churches
When looking at "My Schedule" you'll be able to see all the upcoming Plans you're currently scheduled for, across all churches. Your availability and scheduling preferences will be shared. No more double booking!
How to Link Accounts:
Set passwords for each account to the exact same password, and make sure your first and last name are the same as well.
Log in and Link
When you log in with the same username and password, you will be asked if you would like to link accounts.
Just click on "link these accounts" if you would like to link them, or click login if you would prefer to keep them unlinked but still have one username or password for both.
No Link Button?
If you do not have a 'Link these accounts' link, something is different about your accounts and you will need to edit them.
In this case, Scott's name is spelled differently between the accounts (Scott vs Scotty). He will need to log in and change one of them to match the other. Remember: the name, email and password need to be exactly the same in order for the accounts to match.
