Bulk editing allows you to make changes to multiple people at once. You can also view a history of recent bulk edits and apply another bulk edit to the same group of people.
Select people by hovering over each person's profile picture and selecting the checkbox that appears.
Once you've selected at least one person, two things happen:
-
The select all checkbox at the top of the table changes to a minus sign. Selecting it clears all selections.
-
The ✏️ edit icon in the action bar turns green to indicate you are ready to bulk edit.
Select the ✏️ edit icon to begin bulk editing.
The Bulk Edit window opens upon selecting the ✏️ edit icon. The type of bulk edit actions you can take depends on your permission level in Services.
Important
Unless you've selected more than 100 people, the top of the window shows the profile photos of those chosen for the bulk edit.
-
Schedulers, editors, and administrators can use the first three dropdowns to add and remove tags and assign people to positions within teams.
-
Administrators can also archive people, set permissions (People and Plans, Songs, and Media), and determine file access.
-
To update permission levels, use the dropdowns below the Set Permissions or Archive, Song Permissions, or Media Permissions fields.
-
To archive people, choose People and Plans from the Set Permissions or Archive dropdown, and then Archived from the second dropdown.
-
To change File Access permissions, choose Yes or No for each dropdown.
Warning
Only administrators can see the Set Permissions or Archive, Song Permissions, Media Permissions, and File Access dropdowns.
-
To finish, select the Update button. While the updates are being applied, a progress bar appears at the top of the page to show edit progress.
To access recent bulk edits, select the ✏️ edit icon in the action bar when no people are selected from the list, and choose the Recent bulk edits button in the popup window.
You can see all bulk edits performed by anyone in your account for the last 30 days. If you'd like to apply a new bulk edit to the same list of people, select the Reselect people button to the right of a bulk edit.
